UPDATE: Putin cancels orders prohibiting flights to Egypt’s resorts

(Adds last two paragraphs)

MOSCOW, Jul 8 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin has cancelled the orders prohibiting flights to Egypt’s resorts, according to documents released on the state portal for legal information on Thursday.

“To consider the president’s orders dated November 8, 2015… to have lost force,” the document read.

The president also cancelled the recommendation to travel organizers not to sell tours to Egypt’s resorts.

A representative of the government’s emergency operations center to fight the coronavirus disease told reporters that it will decide on the number of flights to Egypt’s resorts later.

Air companies S7 Airlines, Azur Air and Rossiya have already expressed their readiness to fly to the resorts.
